Incubator Advocate
As a member of the University’s Office of Economic Development, Dan is responsible for monitoring the progress of the incubator tenant companies, assessing their needs for campus and other economic development program resources, and identifying additional resource needs and opportunities while providing guidance and support to the principals as they execute their strategic and business plans. Prior to that he spent 3 years with the Small Business Development Center providing business planning advice and other assistance to small businesses. Dan began his career as a CPA and later became a financing specialist providing investment banking advice to mid-size companies and financial sponsors over a 20 year career, the last 9 as a Managing Director with Jefferies & Company.
