Membership Application


Thank you for your interest in joining the Long Island High Technology Incubator.

An application to enter any of these, to rent an office or lab, is by downloading, filling out our application form, and sending this to the LIHTI administrative offices. Attaching documents or material is acceptable but be sure to address all questions. The application must be signed and notarized by the person who will later sign a lease as well as annual renewal letters, and serve as the company official for communications. We will invite you to present to our Incubator Selection and Review Committee (ISRC) who will decide if your company is a fit with our incubator system. All leases are one year with annual renewals determined by the ISRC. It will be important to show why you seek to be at one of our incubators (e.g.- collaboration with researchers, or access to specialized facilities) versus renting commercial space. It will also be important to show when you plan to graduate into the Long Island region and continue to grow.

Please also check our website for Startup NY, a NYS program that offers significant benefits to new technology startups (that have not started operations yet) or technology companies seeking to relocate from outside New York State; and

We also offer alternative options to entrepreneurs such as shared office or laboratory facilities. Some facilities offer an Incubator Without Walls (IWW) program, where you have access to shared conference rooms and a mailbox but you do not rent specific space.
